Strategic Development Technologies has been created to help nonprofits consider and embrace new fundraising technologies, advance development strategies and techniques, and successfully employ the newly designed solutions. The approach is to integrate seamlessly with each customer’s development team to provide fundraising horsepower at every stage.

The company’s co-founders are Al Spector, President and CEO, and Matthew Grigorieff who serves as its Chief Technology Officer.

BIO: Over the past couple of decades Al’s work has focused on helping nonprofits and small businesses start, operate, and succeed. He has served the nonprofit/social impact community in various roles: executive director, board member, strategic advisor, volunteer, staff, and lead fundraiser. Before turning his full attention to nonprofits and small businesses Al held various corporate posts in leading global companies. He earned his economics degree from UC Berkeley, an executive MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and a law degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder.

BIO: Matt specializes in advancing nonprofit development capacity through innovative technologies and database solutions. He has implemented technology forward fundraising solutions for numerous nonprofits including UC Berkeley, Call of the Sea (constructing an $11M educational tall ship), and Prometheus Orchestra in Berkeley. While serving as the Director of Advancement at the San Francisco Maritime National Parks Association he drove the institution to be one of the most technologically advanced fundraising associations in the U.S. National Park Service. Matt earned his bachelor and graduate degrees from UC Berkeley in policy and was recognized as an outstanding fundraiser for several of the university’s high-profile education programs.
